1. Information we collect

We collect the information you give us when you create an account and use the platform: your name, email address, mobile number, city, account type, the details of the legal matters you raise, messages you exchange with legal professionals, and documents you upload to your Legal Vault.

We also collect limited technical information such as device and browser details and timestamps of sensitive actions, which we use for security and audit purposes.

2. How we use your information

Your information is used to operate your subscription, route your matter to a suitable legal professional, deliver consultations and document reviews, send you notifications about your matters, issue invoices, and improve the reliability and safety of the platform.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use the contents of your legal matters or documents for advertising.

3. Who can see your information

Access is role-based. Your matters and documents are visible to you, to the legal professional assigned to that matter, and to a limited number of authorised SAGA VEIL administrators for support and quality review. Other customers can never see your data.

For business accounts, company administrators can see matters raised under the organisation account. Employees are informed of this when they are invited to an organisation.

4. Storage and security

Documents are stored in private, access-controlled storage and are not publicly accessible. Database access is protected by row-level security so that each request can only reach data the signed-in user is entitled to see. Sensitive actions are recorded in an audit log.

5. Retention

We retain matter records, documents and invoices for as long as your account is active and for the period required to meet legal, tax and professional record-keeping obligations. You may request deletion of specific documents from your Legal Vault at any time.

6. Your rights

You may access and correct your profile information from your dashboard, request a copy of your data, withdraw consent for optional communications, and request deletion of your account. Write to privacy@sagaveil.in and we will respond within a reasonable period.

7. Changes and contact

We will notify you in the platform if this policy changes in a material way. Questions about this policy can be sent to privacy@sagaveil.in.
