LEGAL
Legal Service Terms
How legal services are delivered through SAGA VEIL, and the scope of the professional relationship.
Last updated 1 January 2026
1. Who provides the legal service
Legal advice, document review and consultations are provided by independent legal professionals who are qualified to practise in India. SAGA VEIL facilitates the engagement and manages the matter record; it does not itself practise law.
2. When the professional relationship begins
A professional relationship begins only once a legal professional has been assigned to your matter and has confirmed that they are able to act. Submitting a matter does not by itself create that relationship.
3. Scope of advice
Advice is given on the basis of the information and documents you provide. Incomplete or inaccurate information may change the advice. Advice given for one matter should not be relied upon for a different situation.
4. Matters outside scope
Court appearances, litigation, arbitration hearings, registrations, filings before authorities, and large or complex transactions are outside plan inclusions. Where you wish to proceed with such work, a separate scope and fee is agreed before it begins.
5. Conflicts of interest
Where a conflict of interest is identified, the matter is reassigned to another professional or, if that is not possible, we will tell you that we cannot act.
6. Confidentiality
Communications with your assigned legal professional through the platform are treated as confidential, subject to the professional and legal obligations that apply to legal practitioners in India.
7. AI assistance
SAGA VEIL uses AI to help organise and summarise your intake so professionals can respond faster. AI output is never delivered to you as legal advice; a qualified professional reviews the matter before advice is given.
